Keyboard shortcuts
Every tool has a single key, so most screenshots never need the mouse after the selection. Press F1 in the editor to see this list there.

With the mouse
- Shift while selecting: a square selection
- Shift with the arrow: 45° steps
- Shift with the rectangle: a square
- Shift with the marker: a perfectly horizontal or vertical stroke
- Mouse wheel over the screenshot: change the width
- Double-click a shape, a callout or a text: edit its caption, comment or text
- Shortcuts follow the physical key, so they work with any keyboard layout, Russian included.
- Both global shortcuts can be changed in Settings, Shortcuts. Shortcuts that every app uses, like Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V, are refused.
- On a Mac, ⇧⌘3, ⇧⌘4 and ⇧⌘5 stay with macOS, which is why WellSnap uses ⇧⌘2.
